Analysis of the situation of domestic equipment mold industry

mold industry and machine tool industry have jointly completed the brilliant "Tenth Five Year Plan". Together with the machine tool industry, China has now entered the third place in the world in terms of total production. Although China is already a large country that can stretch, shrink, twist, peel, shear and other performance experiments on various materials for molds and machine tools, it is an indisputable fact that it is far from a powerful country in production. In addition to various other necessary conditions, the improvement and progress of equipment are very critical to the development of mold industry. During the Tenth Five Year Plan period, the equipment of the mold industry has indeed made great improvement and progress. In the process of equipment improvement and progress, Chinese people all hope to use domestic equipment. However, many domestic equipment, especially medium and high-end domestic equipment, have many unsatisfactory aspects in performance, specification, quality, service and so on. In all kinds of helplessness, enterprises have to choose expensive imported equipment. Why can't the current domestic equipment meet the needs of mold production? Why do machine tool manufacturers not pay attention to the mold industry? When can mold enterprises purchase most of the equipment they need in China? These are the hot topics that people in the mold industry often talk about. The "Tenth Five Year Plan" has passed, and during the "Eleventh Five Year Plan" period, we should focus on independent innovation and move forward to a powerful production country, which is the common aspiration of the mold industry and the machine tool industry. During the "Eleventh Five Year Plan" period, the mold industry will not only have a great development in quantity, but also a rapid improvement in product quality and level. Whether in quantity or quality, their development and improvement require a large number of advanced and applicable equipment to equip enterprises. first, there is a huge equipment market in the mold industry

after the development of the tenth five year plan, China's mold industry has indeed made considerable progress. There are two areas that have made the greatest progress: first, the vigorous development of "three foreign-funded" enterprises has led to a rapid development of China's mold production scale and product level; Second, the non-state-owned economy has sprung up, which has rapidly expanded the scale of mold production and improved the product level. It is indeed difficult to make an accurate statistics of the national mold production scale, but through the analysis of information from all aspects, we can draw two major concepts: first, in the Pearl River Delta and Yangtze River Delta, where Hong Kong funded, Taiwan funded and foreign media reports in Volgograd are particularly concentrated, with the rise of enterprises such as machinery, electronics, light industry, building materials, communications and office equipment, The production of self-produced and self-used molds used in the internal support of enterprises has also developed a lot. This part of the mold production scale is about 30 to 50 billion yuan. Second, the total scale of mold production in China has exceeded 60billion yuan in 2005. Therefore, it is credible to say that the total scale of mold production across the country (excluding statistics from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) has reached about 100billion yuan, which is not very different from the actual situation

after the rapid development of the "Tenth Five Year Plan", the development speed of the mold industry during the "Eleventh Five Year Plan" may decline qualitatively, but it is expected that it will still operate at a high speed higher than the average annual rate of more than 10%. In this way, during the "Eleventh Five Year Plan" period, the total mold production will increase by about 10 to 20 billion yuan every year. If the input-output ratio of fixed assets is roughly 1:1 with an average annual increment of 15billion yuan, and about 60% of the investment is used to purchase new equipment, then an average of 9billion yuan is used to purchase various equipment every year. This is an estimate of the equipment market in the mold industry. Although this equipment market only accounts for a small proportion compared with the total scale of the machine tool industry, it cannot be said to be small and should not be ignored. Even if the foreign-funded enterprises mainly use foreign equipment is removed, the domestic machine tool industry will at least have an equipment market of about 6billion yuan per year. Moreover, if the domestic equipment level and service are up and competitive, foreign-funded enterprises are also willing to buy cheap and good domestic equipment. Therefore, if the machine tool industry can grasp this market, the market of about 30 billion yuan during the "Eleventh Five Year Plan" period can not be described too much as "huge"

II. Basic requirements for equipment in the mold industry

compared with other mechanical processing, mold processing has certain particularity, which mainly includes: 1 Most molds need to process complex spatial curved surfaces on solid core metal modules. With the continuous development of molds to large-scale, the weight of modules will become larger and larger, and now some have reached dozens of tons; 2. Most molds are cuboid or cube in shape, few of which are narrow and long, and the main processing volume is concentrated on concave and convex molds; 3. As the requirements of mold products become more and more precise and complex, the requirements for mold processing accuracy are also higher and higher. Now the processing accuracy of many molds has reached ± 1~2 μ m. It will soon develop to less than ± 1 μ m; 4. As users' requirements for the mold production cycle become shorter and shorter, mold processing must meet the requirements of high efficiency, fast, certain flexibility and long-term full load non-stop operation. According to the above four particularities, the following basic requirements for mold processing equipment are put forward: 1 The machine tool should have good rigidity and large bearing capacity suitable for the weight of the module; 2. The size of the worktable should be compatible with the overall size of the mold, which is suitable for rectangle, square and circle, not narrow and long, while the height direction and stroke require a large space; 3. High accuracy and accuracy retention; 4. The allowance shall be removed quickly and efficiently with high reliability to maintain continuous and long-term full load operation; 5.1 during the maintenance of the host machine, the fixture should be coated with anti rust oil for storage; The jaw should be cleaned frequently. In order to adapt to the complex space curved surface processing, and there is a large amount of processing capacity, so the machine tool is required to be able to multi axis linkage and equipped with a CNC system with large information capacity. The above only puts forward some basic requirements for equipment for most mold processing, in addition to many special requirements. For example, the machine tool for processing plastics requires higher speed, but due to the small cutting force, in order to reduce the cost, the machine tool can adopt light structure; The research and matching press used for mold trial does not require it to be efficient and fast, but requires reverse kinetic energy for mold repair; Special machines can be used for a large number of repeated processing of some simple processes, etc. At the same time, compound processing, flexible processing and testing are also the requirements of mold processing
